Privacy Policy

1% Club ("we", "us", "our") is operated by ONE PERCENT CLUB PLT, a company registered in Malaysia. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We have written it in plain language on purpose.
The short version
We collect only the data we need to run the 1% Club community and our AI services. We do not sell your data. We use a small set of trusted third-party processors (Supabase for accounts and data, Stripe for payments, Google for calendar and video, Resend for email). You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time by emailing admin@the1percentclub.net.
What we do not collect
We do not buy, sell, or rent your personal information. We do not use the content you submit (event registrations, project inquiries, messages) to train any AI model. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
1. Who we are
1% Club is a community, content platform, and AI services brand operated by ONE PERCENT CLUB PLT, a company registered in Malaysia. For any privacy question, email admin@the1percentclub.net.
2. What the service does
We offer three things: (a) a free membership community where members can register for events and track their growth; (b) a Partners page showcasing partner products (some processed via Stripe, some via WhatsApp); and (c) 1% AI Labs, our professional services arm that designs and deploys AI systems for businesses. Account creation is free. Paid products are optional and processed through Stripe or partner platforms.
3. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways.
Information you give us when you sign up or update your profile
Name, email address, password (stored hashed by Supabase), phone number (WhatsApp), country, and an optional free-text name of the person who invited you.
Information you give us when you register for an event
Event selection, occurrence date (for recurring events), the optional invitee name you typed, your WhatsApp number, and your attendance status. We also generate a unique referral code for you so others can register under your link.
Information you give us when you inquire about 1% AI Labs
Name, email, WhatsApp number, company name, project description, and any files or details you choose to share about your project.
Information collected automatically
Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer), authentication cookies set by Supabase, and a single first-party analytics cookie if you accept it. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Payment information
We do not see or store your card details. All card payments are processed by Stripe under their own privacy policy. For partner products (MMEETT, Iseigur) handled outside our platform, you transact with those partners directly and their privacy policies apply.
4. How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account
- to register you for events and send you event-related messages (such as WhatsApp group links)
- to generate your unique referral link and count attendees who joined through it
- to respond to your AI Labs inquiry
- to process payments through Stripe
- to send you essential service emails (account, security, transactional)
- to protect paid content (for example, by adding a watermark with your identity on protected pages)
- to keep the site secure and prevent abuse
- and to comply with legal obligations.
Marketing emails
We only send you marketing emails if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing admin@the1percentclub.net.
5. AI services and your data
Our AI Labs services use large language models to design and run AI agents for your business. Content you submit through an AI Labs inquiry (project description, files, messages) is shared with the underlying model providers (currently OpenAI and Anthropic) only to fulfill your specific request. We do not use your inquiry content to train any AI model. AI-generated output is probabilistic — it can be incorrect or incomplete, and you should review it before relying on it for business decisions.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or accounting purposes (for example, Stripe payment records, which Stripe retains under their own policy). Event registrations are retained for the life of the community so we can show your attendance history; you can request deletion at any time. AI Labs inquiry data is retained for up to 24 months for service and audit purposes, then deleted.
9. Your rights

- and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
10. International transfers
Your data is primarily stored in Supabase data centres in Singapore. Some of our processors (Stripe, OpenAI, Anthropic, Resend, Google) may transfer data to other regions, including the United States and Europe, under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards. By using the service, you understand your data may be processed outside Malaysia.
11. Children
The 1% Club is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has signed up, contact admin@the1percentclub.net and we will delete the account.
12. Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit using TLS / HTTPS. Data at rest is encrypted by Supabase. Access to production data is restricted to a small number of authorised operators. No system is perfectly secure — if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you by email and, where required, the relevant authorities.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are material, we will notify active members by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.

6. Cookies we use
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences.
